3 Claude Code Skills that change how we do prospecting
A founder came to me after six months of outbound with zero meetings booked.
Not zero qualified meetings.
Zero meetings.
The problem wasn’t deliverability. It wasn’t email copy. It wasn’t the tools.
It was the foundation.
He was targeting founders in the US, business owners in Australia, companies with 5 employees and companies with 500 employees.
No clear ICP.
No positioning.
No understanding of who actually buys and why.
Just an Apollo list and hope.
So before touching a single sequence, we did something different.
We ran a deep brand analysis, mapped competitors, and fed their sales call transcripts into Claude to identify patterns:
Who converts fastest?
What problems trigger buying intent?
What language do prospects use?
Where are competitors positioned?
Then we rebuilt the targeting from scratch.
Next came signal discovery.
Instead of contacting everyone who fit a basic demographic profile, we identified signals that suggested timing and intent.
Only then did we start building prospect lists.
Every prospect was enriched and verified.
Every company was researched before any outreach copy was written.
The interesting part?
When the founder reviewed the brand and market analysis, he said he finally understood his own business clearly.
Most outbound fails because businesses jump straight to messaging.
But messaging is downstream from strategy.

Then no sequence will save you.
